American Typewriter Greetings from Eric and Julie Zackrison, American Typewriter American Typewriter Agrario is an upscale contemporary restaurant in the heart of Downtown Springfield, MO.  Housed in a restored livery stable built in 1860 we stayed true to the original architecture while creating a comfortable modern restaurant.  We have two major influences when it comes to food.  First we use as much local product as possible (this idea carries over to all of our business dealings.)  This allows us to be sure that our ingredients are as fresh and flavorful as possible and we can be sure that very few if any pesticides and hormones are used allowing for a healthier product.  We combine these local ingredients with influences from the entire Mediterranean region, (Spain all the way around to North Africa) to create contemporary dishes that represent the various seasons.  For this reason we change our menus seasonally to best represent the products that we are receiving from our farmers.  American Typewriter American Typewriter We are very proud to have the staff that we do and their skill and dedication will show when you visit Agrario and the Bodega Bar.
